Begin now at the comfort of your home

Image
You may have heard this a million times but just 30 minutes a day is all you need to amp your fitness or even start the journey. And guess what that is only 2% time of your day! Which is clearly doable. And really it is that simple. So here is the thing, I am not saying ‘hit the gym’ or join some membership for classes or engaging in any other activity which will require your time to & fro. One can simply begin at home. Let’s get started with a few points: Always set clear goals: Determine what you want to achieve through your home workouts. Whether it's weight loss, muscle gain, improved cardiovascular health, or just staying active, having clear goals will help you stay motivated. Assess Your Fitness Level. Be honest with yourself about your current fitness level. This will help you choose appropriate workouts and avoid pushing yourself too hard initially. Plan your routine find a comfortable spot at your home and you are good to go. Set a Schedule: Determine how man

Journey to a healthier me :)

Hello and welcome to my blog, where I share my personal journey towards a healthier and more fulfilling life and motivate you to do the same. Being a mother has taught me the importance of setting a positive example for my child. I want her to grow up understanding the significance of a healthy lifestyle. Through my fitness journey, I aim to instil in the values of discipline, perseverance, and self-care. And this has led me to the fitness enthusiast I am now. I love working out, being active, counting in the steps, strength training etc. you name it and I have probably done it. Fitness has never been a chore or a hobby for me, it’s a way of life. I believe that taking care of our physical and mental well-being is essential, for oneself and those who surround us. Over the years I've experienced first hand how exercise can boost confidence, increase energy levels, and foster a positive mindset. Hence, I am finally out here now and eager to connect with individuals who share my

Kitchen escapades

Finally I enter the Kitchen, which I was supposed to do in the sabbatical that I took off work. Never the less, this is what I cooked up. My Favourite 'Yellow rice with Masala curry'. Spicy Spicy :p Yummy.

And so, a year older and happier :D

And so I turn a year older, or shall I sound cliché by saying I turn a year younger! You know what I mean. And so I wonder, wondering about my life check list. I can’t be turning a year older every year without checking the points off my list. Right? It wouldn’t be fair to make a list then. But yes I am on my way, checked off two points this year :) Yep, feel great about it and hopefully before the year ends shall be checking a couple more. And then I wonder, again, about how the past year has been. You know, trying to ponder and see if you’ve done and been good to yourself and others sort of a thing. I may not be that old to say “Life has taught me lessons” but none the less, the past year has been pretty much enlightening even though the hard way – it was totally worth it. The kind of feeling, where you thank God for the way things turned out in your life and only then were you able to see the light he’s been trying to guide you through. Mind you, it hurts to learn it this way but it

Experience anew

One thing I have surely learnt in near past life. It’s not easy to handle pets (Especially dogs). The kind of attention they need is no less than a basic requirement to a family member. And I would also share this information with people who think keeping pets is an easy job – or have them at home and delegate the dirty work to someone else. I learn much with experience each day as it comes with Troy. He has recently turned a year older. Time to celebrate; with each passing day I ‘think’ that he grows up, stop chewing, stop jumping. But in vain these behavior patterns still exist. Now Im not sure if I am really cut out to be a pet owner because my parents think I fail big time at it. Mum actually mocks me. “Mama I want a dog” is what I used to say to her. I said it so often, then finally decided they will gift me one on my birthday. (Okay I may have insisted a bit) I totally adore him, I do and so do my family members. But it’s just recently the puppy boy has been infested by ticks. Po

Universally United at Twitter

Universally united at Twitter. I must admit, that wasn’t my tagline – oh yes I was prompted – and I still won something for it. That feels great, so what if I dint win the x-box or bid for it. A fun packed evening, meeting and greeting the ones you’ve known from before and newer faces – what better place to socialize than the Oman Twestival. For something that just came up within a week I must say the experience was exhilarating. The things we do to contribute for a better living for some other lives. Having around 140 people to join hands for the same just further adds a drop to the ocean. Im not really sure how the Twestival goes worldwide, pardon my knowledge, – but the Oman Twestival sure did make ‘waves’ in this country, all the more as the location was thoughtfully picked. I am pleased to have been a part of this event. I was even wondering whether to write this piece – but then I remembered someone once told me that it is never too late to thank or appreciate somebody’s effort.
