Universally united at Twitter. I must admit, that wasn’t my tagline – oh yes I was prompted – and I still won something for it. That feels great, so what if I dint win the x-box or bid for it. A fun packed evening, meeting and greeting the ones you’ve known from before and newer faces – what better place to socialize than the Oman Twestival. For something that just came up within a week I must say the experience was exhilarating. The things we do to contribute for a better living for some other lives. Having around 140 people to join hands for the same just further adds a drop to the ocean. Im not really sure how the Twestival goes worldwide, pardon my knowledge, – but the Oman Twestival sure did make ‘waves’ in this country, all the more as the location was thoughtfully picked. I am pleased to have been a part of this event. I was even wondering whether to write this piece – but then I remembered someone once told me that it is never too late to thank or appreciate somebody’s effort. ...
One thing I have surely learnt in near past life. It’s not easy to handle pets (Especially dogs). The kind of attention they need is no less than a basic requirement to a family member. And I would also share this information with people who think keeping pets is an easy job – or have them at home and delegate the dirty work to someone else. Mum actually mocks me. “Mama I want a dog” is what I used to say to her. I said it so often, then finally decided they will gift me one on my birthday. (Okay I may have insisted a bit) I totally adore him, I do and so do my family members. But it’s just recently the puppy boy has been infested by ticks. Po...
Just as I was thinking of making my Bucket list, I don’t know why but Sky diving was one of the obvious things to do. And while I started making the list, I was lost in memory of my ‘free spirited jump’ That’s what I like to call it. Well this is how the incident goes: It was one of the usual family get togethers where my parents and their friends and their children who would be my friends during the cool winter mid morning decided to head to a destination.
Very common of us to park outside the ‘meeting point’ at Sarooj to get ourselves all assembled, fueled up on fuel and food knowing its going to be a long exciting adventurous day ahead. We plan to go to Wadi Tiwi and there was this huge smile on my face as I love long drives, they don’t ever bore or tire me. (Long story to blog about someday) 210Kms to our destination, we stop, we ate, we clicked pictures, we would sit about anywhere on our way, I am guessing it is the company of people that makes you do so.
